2023 Women & Girls Fund Award Recipient

The Women & Girls Fund is honored to announce Jo Ann Asparagus Murray, Esq. is the 2023 recipient of the Women & Girls Fund Award for her outstanding professional and personal contributions to the community. Now retired after more than 25 years in the court system, Jo Ann was the Domestic Relations Master, then Circuit Rider for the Second Judicial Circuit of Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot counties and served as the Family Law Magistrate in Caroline County. She is an active volunteer for many organizations, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Habitat for Humanity, Talbot Interfaith Shelter, and Talbot County Public Schools.
